Despite fact checkers determining that Barack Obama's denials of the sequester originating from his office, were direct lies to the public, Obama continued to repeat them, saying that Congress proposed the sequester.
“The sequester is not something that I've proposed. It is something that Congress has proposed.”
— President Obama, in the third presidential debate, Oct. 22, 2012
Now that the sequester has officially gone into effect and Obama has been forced to issue the sequester order, via memorandum embedded here, White House economic adviser Gene Sperling, after a long back and forth, finally admits publicly "We put forth the design of" the sequestration."

Fact checkers and even the Obama media has been exposing his sequester lies, one after another, and now that Obama has lost in his bid to insert taxes into a law that was made up of spending cuts in it's entirety, his officials are now being forced to admit to Obama's lies.
