Joe Manganiello, True Blood’s resident werewolf, appeared on Chelsea Handler’s late night talk show Chelsea Lately on July 26 to talk about his upcoming movie, True Blood, and what it’s like to be naked around a real werewolf. Manganiello describes his experience transforming into a werewolf on True Blood:
“I’m usually naked in broad daylight….[with trainers] waving raw meat.”
Manganiello tells Chelsea Handler the reason he did not attend this year’s Comic-Con is because he was in Atlanta rehearsing for his new movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, which will feature: Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, and Chris Rock.
The most salacious part of the interview is when the two are discussing Handler’s joke made at this year’s MTV Movie Awards. Handler reminds him she made a joke about “sitting on your face or something”. Manganiello’s parents were not happy:
“All the nudity, all the craziness on True Blood – my parents haven’t said one word about it. The morning after the Movie Awards, I get a call from my mom: ‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting.’”
