Vanilla Ice Responds to Adam Sandler's Native American Controversy on Ridiculous Six

Vanilla Ice has come to the defence of Adam Sandler upcoming Netflix comedy The Ridiculous Six over a recent backlash.
Several Native Americans working on the film walked off set last week, after condemning the film for being "totally disrespectful" towards their culture.
Vanilla Ice hosts a pool party in Las Vegas.
Nine people left after taking offense over Native American women being called 'Beaver's Breath' and 'No Bra', as well as a scene with a Native American squatting to urinate while smoking a peace pipe.
But Ice, who claims to be part-Choctaw, told TMZ that the he can see the argument from both sides, due to his roots.
"It's comedy, I don't think anybody had any ill feelings or intent or anything. This movie isn't Dancing with Wolves... it's comedy," he explained.
Ice will play Mark Twain in The Ridiculous Six. That, alone, would seem to suggest that it's a spoof film.
The Ridiculous Six stars Sandler, Will Forte, Taylor Lautner, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo and Terry Crews, and is directed by Frank Coraci.
