Update: Value Stock Picks for the Week of 7/2/12 to 7/6/12

Welcome back to the Value Stock Investing Notebook! Thank you stopping by and supporting the idea of investing in dividend paying stocks for the long term. I wanted to recap last week's picks for you since it is important to review all investments on a weekly, if not daily, basis.
It was a 5 for 20 week. 25% of my picks increased in value. Although we did not make a lot of money this week, we did find some value.  Sirius XM Radio Inc(NASDAQ:SIRI) and CF Industries Holdings, Inc.(NYSE:CF) increased in value. If you invested $1,000 on 7/2/12 into SIRI, you would have gains $108.10 as of 7/6/12. Not too shabby!
When investing in value stocks you should try to hold on for at least a quarter. I like companies such as McDonald's Corporation(NYSE:MCD)and RadioShack Corporation(NYSE:RSH) because they are currently undervalued and also they are very well known in the United States and worldwide! Let these companies work hard for you so you can maximize your profits.
