Un Si Grand Soleil: “Enzo is a little reluctant towards Billie” according to Teïlo Azaïs – News Series on TV

The young actor returned to us on the evolution of his character and what awaits him in the next episodes. While Enzo managed to denounce Etienne to exonerate Jules, he is surprised by Billie's positive attitude towards him ...

You joined the Un Si Grand Soleil adventure in 2019. How did your desire to become an actor come about?

Teïlo Azaïs: When I was eight, my mother saw casting announcements on Facebook and asked me if I wanted to try. I first did a bit of figuration, and I really liked it. After that, my mom kept looking and found an ad that I audited for, and got caught. After that, I met an agent with whom I stayed for eight years, and who found me other projects. And I got there today, that's how I started. My mother felt that I liked it a lot and she said to herself, why not give it a try!

How was your casting for the role of Enzo? Did you audition for this exact role originally?

Yes, it was my agent who offered me the casting for this role. I went there, then I was called back to do some tests with Yvon Back, who plays my grandfather (Becker) and Gaëla Le Dévéhat, who plays my mother, and in the end I was told that I was was taken.

Initially, Enzo was presented as a complicated teenager, with problems managing his anger. What has allowed him to evolve since, according to you?

Yes, at first he was quite an angry person. I think one of the things that made him evolve today, understanding where these problems came from and why he had them, compared to his trauma with his babysitter when he was a child. , took a weight off him. The fact of having met Inès managed to appease her a little, and to have made friends too. All of these things made him feel more relaxed today.

Compared to Inès, the plot around the revenge porn and the bullying she suffered put Enzo in a difficult position. Was this a subject that touched you, and that seemed important to you to deal with?

It's an important subject, just with the harassment on the networks, because it starts from that. Talk about networks and show the extent that a simple video can take, if a malicious person decides to broadcast it. It can go very quickly. And beyond the person concerned, it can also affect those around them, especially with Inès' boyfriend in the series who wanted to kill himself because everyone thought it was him. I thought it was cool to talk about it and to participate from the inside in this project.

If Inès is surely not going to forgive Enzo before a while of having hidden from him the truth about the real author of the revenge porn, we feel that her friend Billie (Marie de Dinechin) is a little more understanding and friendly with him. Will Enzo get closer to her and finally succeed in turning the page with Inès?

Yes that's right, Enzo is a little confused that Billie, after she hated her the most, kindly comes back to him. He is a little reluctant, he says to himself that there is perhaps something hidden behind all that ... After that we will see; if that can help him to make him forget Inès afterwards, so much the better!

Enzo currently lives with his father, Florent, his partner Claire and Kira, whom they have recently hosted. Their daily life is likely to be a little upset in the next episodes, on the occasion of the arrival in Montpellier of Dimitri, Florent's brother recently released from prison. How will Enzo react to his uncle's return?

Obviously, there will be a problem between Florent and his brother. Enzo knows what happened, and why it's going to cause problems next. He's gonna be a little divided, a little lost between his father and his uncle. And he will quickly realize that if he returns, it is not for the intentions we suppose ...

Who do you get along with particularly well on film sets?

At the very beginning, I got along very well with Maéva El Aroussi, who plays Inès and with whom I spent a lot of time. Then, with Fabrice Deville, who plays Florent, we have a very good understanding. I really consider him to be my fictional father. Now I also get on really well with Coline Ramos-Pinto, who recently arrived as Kira.

Are there any particular intrigues in the series that you would like to confront? Whether it's comedy, action ... Knowing that in everyday life, anything can happen to a character.

I would like to find the side of Enzo that I had at the beginning, the "dark Enzo" with outbursts of anger, a little dark phases ... I like working that, and now that it is is calm, I would like to find the Enzo from before! But we do not know how it will evolve, anything can happen.

What are your next projects, next to Un Si Grand Soleil?

Right now I'm only on the show, but last summer I shot the sequel to What's This Family? and what is this granny ?. We shot the third part, What is this grandpa? and which will be released normally, if the cinemas decide to reopen, on August 11th. After that, I finished shooting the 16-year-old film by Philippe Lioret on February 14, which for the moment has no release date, but it should be around 2022.
