Tyler Ramsey (of Band of Horses) Swoons Joe’s Pub [photos]

Tyler Ramsey (@bandofhorses) of Band of Horses played an intimate show at Joe’s Pub Monday night. Ramsey’s gentle folk picking and beautiful voice radiated a soothing vibe throughout the candlelit venue. Drawing from his 2007 work A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea, Ramsey treated the audience to “A long dream”, “Birdwings”, and “No One Goes Out”. The real treat came at the end of the show, though, when he covered Cyndi Lauper’s “All through the night”. All in all the artist, the venue and the atmosphere made for a perfect show.
