Tropea, the Jewel of Calabria, Italy

Tropea is a town in the southern Italian province of Calabria. Not so famous among world travellers, Tropea is a typical Mediterranean town with amazing beaches, stunning views and a spectacular coastline. 
The town itself is gorgeous, with the main sights being the Franciscan monastery, the Norman cathedral built in the 12th century and the most of the town center.
But this is not what you will enjoy the most in Tropea, here you will want to stay on the beach, enjoy the spectacular sunset and swim in the lovely Tyrrhenian Sea.
As the online edition of The Sunday Times said it, Tropea has one of the most beautiful 20 beaches in the world.
