With picks in rounds 1-2, 4-7, and a projected three picks coming via the compensatory process, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin hints the team's target is to add another player via free agency.
It'd be best to not read too deeply into this, but it's worth using it as a basis to gauge exactly where the Steelers stand after the first two weeks of free agency.
The Steelers have draft picks in Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7. They can expect to get at least three picks via compensation (speculation on where those picks will be is always a fun activity). All told, if Tomlin is holding true to an addition of 10 players via free agency and the draft, he's referring to one more free agent signing or one more compensatory pick being awarded.
Those picks are expected to be announced at some point during the league meetings underway in Orlando.
The Steelers have meetings scheduled with free agent running back LeGarrette Blount and linebacker Arthur Moats.
Tomlin said the team is looking to add another experienced running back to go behind Le'Veon Bell, the team's featured back.
