Today Is #LoveYourVaJayJay Day – A #BWSU Gynecological Cancer Awareness Initiative…#CheckUpOnIt

Posted on the 10 April 2021 by Blackwomenstandup

Today marks year number eight, when BlackWomenStandUp.com’s Co-Founder, Tiffany Braxton lost her mother in 2013 to an aggressive form of Uterine Cancer. That prompted the start of #LoveYourVaJayJay Day, a #BWSU health initiative centered around Gynecological (GYN) Cancer Awareness. “Today we encourage women to #CheckUpOnIt to stay on top of their health to remain cancer free, or for early detection. Schedule a GYN appointment, talk to your family with regards to your family history, these are two things women can do to be proactive.

Stand with us, spread the word, share your story, and post about this initiative using the hashtag #LoveYourVaJayJay Day and #CheckUpOnIt!
