Tiki Taka Movie Review: A decent comedy movie well enough to burst you in riots of laughter!

While Online Web Streaming of content is the new generation thing, it is also a great way to be connected with the current on-goings and great creative content that the world has to offer. The current situation in the world has brought our lives to a standstill, where a good laugh and lighthearted content is what we urge for, isn't it?

Well, I recently got the chance to watch the ZEE5 Hindi Movies Original, Tiki Taka, sports comedy movie starring Parambrata Chattopadhyay (Raju), Emona Enabulu (Khelechi), PK (Saswata Chatterjee) and Ritabhari Chakraborty (Bonnie). The movie revolves around Khelechi, an African national, who comes to India with a football laden with narcotics to deliver it to P.K, who runs a drug cartel. However, in a comedy of errors, P.K's men pick up the wrong guy, and Khelechi ends up with Raju, a con man.

About the movie

The core components and central idea of the movie revolves around comedy of errors, football and friendship. Khelechi is a penniless Senegalese national who comes to India to deliver a football filled with drugs and gets in the wrong taxi whose driver is Raju. Raju is a smart person who spread rumors about Khelechi, under the pretext of a stereotype and outsmarts the system in order to save his 'brother', Khelechi from the clutches of the drug masters. That is when the fun begins and the entire movie is a riot of laughter with moments of #GoalMaal, happiness, friendship, emotions and so well written.

In no time, with the help of a struggling reporter Bonnie and the football lovers of the city, the news of Khelechi is spread like wild fire and he is turned into an overnight sensation among the Bengalis, where even his name which is a pun of a name is considered. Among all of this, no one really questions his football skills and his work history, as Raju presents Khelechi in a great manner. He becomes an unforgettable name when people see his football skills which was like a one-time wonder and he is praised by one and all.

However, there are a few loopholes in the story of Khelechi as narrated by Raju to two documentary makers,(Riddhi Sen and Surangana Bandopadhyay). There is a lot which goes about in the movie where a zamindar runs a dryg racket and a cop who doesn't pay heed to it. Two club managers (Kharaj Mukherjee and Paran Bandopadhyay) who are a fan of Khelechi and want to get him in their respective club, no matter the price and how the reporters publish and believe in news which was not even verified.

How did I find the movie/Is it worth the watch?

All in all, Tiki Taka is a decent movie filled with laughter and decent comedy scenes. The performances by the actors are well done and the chemisty between Bonnie and Khelechi is worth watching. The movie has a decent background score and the songs are very well composed. It is a decent story which will be loved by football fanatics and everyone, though it doesn't have much scenes pertaining to sports, but is still worth a watch.
