These Creepy Crawling Robot Lamps Follows You Wherever You Go

Equipped with PhantomX quadrupeds, these walking Japanese garden lamps allows you to program them with unique behaviors to follow people or react to movements as it comes with infrared rangefinders, an IR camera and infrared beacons.

Maker of Toro-bots has a vision to use this technology to develop gardens that “takes care of itself, that somehow understands and re-interprets the rules of harmony and equilibrium, and reconfigures itself depending on the season.”

I’m not a big fan of garden lamps, but if they could add a table on top of those robots that could carry my drink wherever I go, I would definitely get one of these bots for myself.
