The Voice Top 5 ITunes Rankings Paint An Interesting Picture

ITunes Rankings:
2. The Swon Brothers – Danny’s Song
4. Danielle Bradbery – Who I Am
7. Danielle Bradbery – Please Remember Me
8. The Swon Brothers – Turn the Page
9. Amber Carrington – Sad
12. Michelle Chamuel – Time After Time
23. Michelle Chamuel – Clarity
48. Sasha Allen – I Will Always Love You
63. Sasha Allen – Bad Girls
80. Amber Carrington – Firework

What you need to know: The Voice multiplies votes for all sales that make the top 10 by 10. So, if you sold 50,000 copies in 9th place, you actually got 500K votes. So, Danielle and The Swon Brothers are virtually safe, as they had BOTH of their songs multiplied. Amber managed to get one of her songs in the top 10, so even though her Firework was the lowest selling single, her 10 vote multiplier will more than make up for it. Let’s just say, for arguments sake, Amber sold 50,000 in 9th place, Michelle sold 49,000 in 12th place, and 48,000 in 23rd. Then we’ll just say there was a massive drop to 80th, and Amber sold 1,000 copies. Amber still registers 501K votes, and Michelle only registers 97K votes.

The Voice also doesn’t allow power voting. The only way you can powervote, essentially, is to get the top 10 on Itunes.

My prediction for tonight? The shocking elimination of Michelle Chamuel (along with the obvious elimination of Sasha Allen).
