Just a little reminder up at the top, once again, I do live in the path of yet another hurricane. The last one, Helene brushed me compared to a lot of other places, but Milton is headed in a different direction. I anticipate being able to update at least tomorrow morning, but in case I lose power/internet, this is a reminder.

Chalk it up to storm prep, but I seemingly still managed more content than most people in a day. I don’t know that I have profound thoughts. I’d like to see/hear more of The Franchise first, but my initial reaction to a narrator I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard before was that he sounded like Roy Samuelson’s son. A lot of the same way he reads things, but with a younger and lighter voice. Then, I saw… not related at all. The audio description team behind The Penguin is still doing bang up work. Probably the best moment of episode 3 came with the description of the mushrooms. I’m still really impressed at how good the audio description is for Love Is Blind, which is just such a silly show. Y’all been watching some silly shit. Seriously. This show does not invest us enough in these conversations for people to be falling “in love’ this quickly. But, some of the best descriptions of an actual human being I’ve heard on TV have come from this description.
