Even though many jobs may be replaced, this doesn't mean humans will become defunct. Firstly, there are several professions it seems unlikely could ever be replaced by technology-the arts and creative industries for one.

Computers are a long way off being able to comprehend the emotions and personal experiences. Emotional input is required to create a classic work of literature, an Oscar-winning film, a beautiful painting, or a romantic love song.

The technology that is being used for artificial intelligence is constantly growing and becoming more complex. And the number of people that are necessary to grow this technology is getting bigger and bigger with the rise of AI.
