This is home. The place that makes my heart jump with excitement.  A little bit of everything that I love! Of course, I’m back from my vacations, and I wanted to share with you; the second part of my trip. I know some of you have been waiting for this post, and I really appreciate all your beautiful words and thoughts on the comment section. So I hope you enjoy the images that I've captured. The Province of Tucumán,  Argentina.

Argentina or the Argentine Republic {as many of us -Argentinians- call it} it’s a large country and it is politically divided in twenty four provinces.Yes, twenty four. And besides fine architectural style, Tango, Dulce de Leche and a good dose of passion for football- soccer :)-Every province of Argentina has its own personality and traditions.
Tucumán is located in the northwest of the country and it’s also the smallest province. A strong combination of flat lands and mountains makes the summer 'very summery' {quite warm}. And even more interesting for many foreigners.
We called our little province 'El Jardin de la Republica'The Garden of the Republic; because of the abundance and variety of beautiful flowers, trees, mountains, valleys, hills and all kind of vegetation. This attracts many tourists every year, particularly from neighboring provinces. People from the south part of the country like; Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Rosario.
Yes, the downtown was crowded...

From The City to The Hills.

I’d grow up surrounded by orange and lemon trees, the smell of flowers and weekend picnics at the foot of the hill. When I was a little girl, my family and I loved going to the San Javier Hill- a small town surrounded by countless green mountains, tranquility and fresh breeze. And it’ just one hour drive from home.
Sometimes we used to have merieda -afternoon tea there, mate {Argentinian tea} with white bread sandwiches. It was always an adventure! Walking on the narrow streets around the villa and passing by the pretty little farms, watching horses, chickens and sheep. And gratifying our palates with artisan bread and empanadillas {sweet empanadas filled with sweet potatoes pure} :)
And I’m never tired of watching such amazing landscapes. So, one 'very hot' afternoon, after a succulent lunch with empanadas and asado {Argentinian barbeque} the family, J. and I decided to visit The San Javier Hill. We drove up hill with great excitement and as we drive, we couldn't stop looking at the majestic forestation. All shades of green, a feast to our eyes.

We stopped at the artisans fair and buy homemade alfajores and honey. There was people everywhere, we also toured around the beautiful spa and resort Sol San Javier. After our long walk throughout the town we just sat down near the Statue of The Cristo Redentor - Christ the Redeemer- to just observe the city from the hill.
My heart was overwhelmed of joy and gratitude to celebrate life, family and love once more.
It was just  the perfect afternoon for us!
