At the beginning of last month, the number of applications in Windows Phone Marketplace has managed to break the 90,000. Now, the number of applications increased to 100,000. This means there are about 313 new applications per day. As quoted from the website All About Windows Phone , the current applications in the Marketplace reached 100 145. Of these, a total of 26 493 applications included in the last three months of 9391 and put them last month. These applications are made by more than 23 825 different developers.
Windows Phone takes 14 months to reach 50,000 apps, but it only took five months later to double it to 100,000. Attainment rate to 50 000 applications occurred on December 27, 2011, to 60 000 on January 22, 2012, to 70 000 on February 23, 2012, to 80 000 on March 26, 2012 and to 90 000 on 30 April 2012.
