THE SHOWS The Night Of
The past few eps of this one have been a bit slow. Sunday's episode started to pick up a bit. While Nas still looks out of place in prison, you can see how he's starting to change. Actually it's prison that's changing him. He's less of a deer-in-the-headlights now which is terrible but it's what he needs to do to survive in prison. The real star of this show is John Turturro and I hate to say it but...his feet have really become what I'm most interested in. You'd think with all the doctors out there they could get that footrot situation under control  Anyway, I don't know about you, but I definitely think the stepfather has something to do with Andrea's death. Of course it could have been those thugs on the street. I still don't think Nas did it even though he was hopped up on who knows what. Hating Glenn Headley. Has she forgotten how to act? Horrible. We are half way done with this one. Can they wrap it up in 4 more eps? Probably. I just hope that justice prevails and Nas comes out of this entire experience okay. Thinking that this won't happen which will really depress the hell out of me.
Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens
Hate to say this but I think it's time to pull the plug on this one. The ONLY good thing about Sharknado 4 was Ian Ziering and Gary Busey. How is it that Ian looks EXACTLY the same as he did as Steve Sanders in 1990? Gary isn't aging well, but he was as good as he could be in this one. The cheese factor was off the charts, the references were skewed way out of the demo and Tara Reid is a hot mess. Barely recognizable, and in desperate need of food. The entire show was a 2 hour Comcast/NBCUniversal commercial. Nice use of cheap labor! Every Bravolebrity they could stuff in this one, they did, and if you didn't know about Comcast's Xfinity product before, you better know now. Tornado's weren't enough anymore. There were bouldernados, lavanados, sandnados and lots of references to The Wizard of Oz. Pulled out of the what-are-they-doing now file were Carrot Top, Susan Anton, Gilbert Gottfried, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Wayne Newton and Steve Gutenberg. Cheryl Tiegs came out of the woodwork for some reason. How horrible did she look? She could have been an actual robot. Just goes to show the long lasting effects of Botox. I did enjoy the Baywatch chicks cameo. Nice to see Donna Mills, too. The ending was absolutely ridiculous with little Gill (get it) and his tiny chainsaw carving through 4 different sharks to bring his entire family back for Sharknado 5. I'm guessing that whether we want it or not...we'll get another Sharknado, but I am officially OUT.
Odd Mom Out
YEAHHHHHHHHHH Brooke cut off Lex's manbun! Now I can love them again!!! Hilarious episode yet AGAIN! Andy's Mom was having a dinner party at her apartment where the doormen were all on strike and of course Jill would rather do ANYTHING then hang with Candice so she joined the picket line and had some awesome chants for the strikers. Andy, on the other hand was handling the door, searching the mail for his Mom's Xanax and manning the elevator until he got stuck in it. Guess what? Vanessa was married once! To another doctor. Personally I didn't think he was cute enough for her but the premise was funny. Apparently even though they've been divorced for 11 years, her ex still had her listed as his emergency contact. He was in the hospital for being exposed to Yak Polio. It's really hard to give this show justice in my blog. I'm not as funny as Jill is. Set the DVR, or go on Bravo's Watch App and binge this sucker. This show's not for everyone but I freaking love it. I am SO grateful for the end of the manbun. It was killing me. Thank You, Jill!
I know all of you Bachelorette fans are realing from JoJo's choice of Jordan over Robbie but you really should be more curious over who Darius is going to choose next week on the UnReal season finale. Chantal or Tiffany? Of course neither pairing is real or forever but we're all still invested for some crazy reason. Over on Everlasting, an all time low for Rachel and Quinn. Rachel had her reasons to poison Yael's sushi and have her literally sh*t her pants on National TV. Of COURSE Quinn loved every second. I've never seen one episode of The Bachelor, has something like that ever actually happened? With America on the verge of electing Trump as our next President, maybe a girl crapping her pants on national TV is also what the public wants. I don't even know anymore. I felt bad for Quinn when she found out she couldn't have kids after the fastest test results EVER, but no time for pity. She dumped her dude, smashed up some monitors and then Rachel needed her to SNAP OUT OF IT and get her sh*t together so that they could take down Coleman next week. This show's nuts.

-Nothing better than Jared Leto and Golden Retriever puppies. Jimmy Fallon played Pup Quiz last night on his show, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e29YJhySzZ4

-I saw Jason Bourne over the weekend. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. It was fine for a Saturday night out. James Corden apparently was in Jason Bourne...I had no idea.
-I gotta admit, I didn't know Samie Falvey was the head of ABC Comedy but now she's left all that to become Chief Content Officer of...well, it doesn't have a name yet. It's going to be yet another "premium content service" coming from Awesomeness TV (and full disclosure, Verizon) The new brand will focus on short form content aimed at mobile users and will be part of Verizon's go90 app. I'd love to know how Samie explained her new gig to her parents. Why she's leaving ABC Comedy and taking this job that has no name yet. Old school thinking on my part? Maybe.
-Sundance renewed The A Word for a 2nd Season. I started watching this one but once again I had issues with the accents and had to bag it. I probably should go back and watch with the closed caption on. I have a feeling it's worth it.
-The Girlfriend Experience will be back for a 2nd season, but totally different characters and a new story. Elvis's grandaughter's done. I'm thinking Priscilla and Lisa Marie are a bit relieved by that news. No more soft core porn for Riley. Whewwwww
-The Last Ship was renewed for a 4th season on TNT. Guess it's really not the LAST season.
-I love my Google Chromcast. Google does too! They sold another 5 million of them in the last 2 months. 30 million of them since 2013. Nice little revenue stream, not that they need it, but it's the greatest little thing if you're a streamer like me.
