The New Jeweled and Gold Visa Card Adds Some Flair to Shopping

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

The Amex Black has some new competition as the ritziest card you can pull out of your wallet. In collaboration with Kazakhstan’s Sberbank, Visa has released a solid gold, jewel-encrusted credit card with premium privileges to boot. The Amex Black itself has always had a bit of weight to it; one can only imagine the heft of a solid gold card in the back pocket.

The Visa Infinite companion card is available by invitation only to the top 100 Sberbank customer’s, guaranteeing a new level of exclusivity- as if being made of solid gold wasn’t exclusive enough. The card is manufactured in Russia by Rosan Diamond and made of solid gold with a brushed finish. The card is then embellished with mother-of-pearl and 26 diamonds with a total weight of .17 carats.

Besides the obvious opulence of its construction, the new bejeweled Visa Infinite offers a level of service to rival the infamous Amex Black card. Each Visa cardholder will have a personal manager with Sberbank, round-the-clock concierge service, and preferred entry at over 280 airports worldwide. Visa intends to make the card available to more markets in the a few years, including the Asia Pacific, Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.

If you thought people wanted to steal your credit card before, try pulling the gold Visa Infinite out of your wallet. One thing’s for certain about this card, though: calling to cancel and order a new card just got much more expensive.
