Enchanting Travels embarks on an epic global journey through some of the most desolate and beautiful terrain in the world, bringing together our staff from four different continents as we travel from Africa to Brazil, right in time for the World Cup 2014! After planning hundreds of trips for guests from around the world, our team sets its sights higher for a journey of a lifetime across the world. This epic journey begins at our offices in Nairobi, Kenya and will end at Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, just two days ahead of the World Cup 2014. “The Goal: Africa to Brazil” will bring our multicultural staff together to traverse some of the world’s most challenging and pleasurable terrain.
The countdown has begun!
We officially announced this adventure through our media partner Nation Media Group last week.

The route
Team members from our offices in Germany, India, Kenya and Buenos Aires will join different segments of the journey, making it a truly global one.
We begin with the spectacular mountains of Northern Kenya, visit with indigenous tribes of southern Ethiopia, journey along the legendary old Silk Route from Iran to Samarkhand, past the rugged steppes of Western and Central Mongolia into even more challenging terrain in the Russian Far East where winter temperatures are expected to drop to -40 degrees centigrade.
We emerge in the other hemisphere in Los Angeles, from where we begin our journey south to the warm and sunny beaches of the Caribbean to thaw out our frozen bones, take in the wonders of Machu Picchu and then head straight to Rio, one of the party capitals of the world, just ahead of the World Cup, in time to soak in all the excitement.
While we journey for the pleasure and pure thrill that comes from new cultural encounters and journeys through breath-taking terrain, we are also raising donations for the Jubilee Scholarship Fund which will help less-privileged children in Africa receive a secondary education and pursue their dreams. Our journey from Africa to Brazil is also in support of the Memory Foundation through which we take our guests off the beaten path to capture photographs of local people, frame them and present them as a gift of beautiful memories.
