The Keto Diet: “I Love the Plan, Love the Site, Love the Ease of Eating LCHF and Loving Myself Again!”

By Dietdoctor @DietDoctor1

Over people have signed up for our free two-week keto low-carb challenge. You'll get free guidance, meal plans, recipes, shopping lists and troubleshooting tips - everything you need to succeed on a keto diet.

Here are new amazing stories from the people who've taken the challenge:

Super excited and so happy I have started this journey... The 2-week keto plan saw me lose 3.5 kg (8 lbs) and 8 cm (3 inches) around stomach.

Our family of four are doing it together. We are all motivated and everybody around same results.

The meal plans are terrific and very tasty, simple to cook, quick and filling. We had changed a few of the recipes purely to keep the cost down (especially the meat) keeping the dinner plans for dinner and substituting tuna, chicken salad or frittata for lunch each day.

We will be staying with the 0-20 g carbs for the time being for weight loss. For me personally I don't do breakfast so happy with a coffee. Will keep you posted on our journey.

Regards,
Ingrid

My husband did well on the challenge. He did Atkins years ago and was successful so he was very confident this challenge was the right way to go. I did less well although I continued to drink and cheat a couple of times a week. So - we are doing it again - I am being more diligent and am feeling like it is working.

I am confident that if I stick with it I will be successful.

I am always full. I find many of the recipes salty so I am cutting back on some of the seasonings. At the beginning I was grossed out by the amount of butter and oils I cooked with. Everything seemed so rich. I am adjusting and confident that if I stick with it I will be successful. Enjoy the recipes. They are easy to assemble.

I enjoyed your article on alcohol the other day. Good info for me to consider if this is one of my road blocks!

We will persevere. Glad we took the challenge. Heading into week 4.

I loved the menu and information provided on the website. I didn't struggle totally omitting simple carbs as much as I thought I would. I lost 2 kg (4 lbs) in the first week and was so excited but then put on 0.5 kg (1 lbs) the second week: shattered! I have kept the diet going this third week and so far have put on another 0.2 kg (0.4 lbs). I'm not sure where to go from here!

It has got me back on track with my eating. I have joined your site. I have blood tests to recheck my fasting glucose and in 3 weeks. I have lost some weight. Did not measure at the start!

Thanks for the program,
Jenny

This two-week challenge was so much easier than I thought it would be because the food is absolutely delicious!

I'm 54 and in pretty good shape. I'm a Yoga Instructor and co-own a yoga studio in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. When I had two people this year ask me when my baby was due I knew I had to do something about my belly fat!! (I thanked them for thinking I was young enough to be fertile lol!).

I am actually enjoying the 16-hour fasts and do this several times per week. I am drinking way more water and am surprised at how it combats feeling hungry.

I have finally connected at the emotional and physical level with how addictive sugar and carbs really are for me.

I am a sugar addict - but only understood that at the intellectual level until I started eating KETO. I have finally connected at the emotional and physical level with how addictive sugar and carbs really are for me (processed cereal would be my "go-to" snack and is a huge "comfort food" for me).

I noticed too that I am a "stress eater" - which I really didn't know about myself either til this change in my eating.

I will be continuing with this way of eating indefinitely. I am looking forward to the chocolate mousse recipe I saw on your site the other day!!

Regards,
Jennifer

We LOVED doing the 2-week challenge and we feel AMAZING 😀

I will be signing up for membership as soon as I have finished typing this email. Both my husband and I are now down to eating two meals a day and only have the odd snack if out about and when really hungry. This way of eating is for us and will be life long.

Thank you for the wonderful work you and your team do to help and support people like us change our lives, we will be forever grateful.

The most amazing surprise was the lack of hunger allowing me to fast intermittently.

Hello 👋

I found the last 2 weeks surprisingly simple! I lost 10 lbs (5 kg) using a variety of the recipes provided and never felt deprived or like I was dieting. The most amazing surprise was the lack of hunger allowing me to fast intermittently. I have never been able to fast in the past, I was always the one waiting for time between meals to come quicker or end up snacking in between. Not on LCHF!

The site is wonderful and easy to find a multiple of recipes for any given meal. All of which were easy to follow and containing REAL food. The site shopping list created as you choose the meal plan suggested or switch it up for any of the other endless recipe options is a great 👍 tool.

In short, I love the plan, love the site, love the ease of eating LCHF and loving myself again! I plan to use this site forever!

Thanks for the help!!!

Eileen
