This post is inspired by The Kalen Allen ( @thekalenallen ) recent Instagram post. Strictly for them who want to change their life stories.I always find lesser known people who have achieved a lot and their dreams, aka unsung heroes way more inspiring than them whose stories are written all over the world. Kalen Allen is very popular though! But if you are not active on Social Media then you might not know him very well. Or you might have watched his funny videos on your Instagram top videos or Youtube. Regardless of these facts, you must know and remember that Kalen Allen is a highly inspiring human who sings the tunes of "Be Unique", "Be Yourself", "Dream Big", etc.
Recently his post in which he is sitting at Ellen Degeneres chair in Yellow sweats and his iconic red hat, his caption made me rething about my life and be really firm in some decisions which will be coming on my way in near future. (You'd know about that as soon as it is done). Here is a snapshot of his caption!
He writes-
Dear friends, 8 months ago I thought I knew where I was going. I thought I knew my story. But little did I know that I had underestimated how magnificent my story could become. So, don't limit the potential of your story on your own understanding, but put your faith in the reality that you are where you are supposed to be, when you are supposed to be there. Once I realised that, it reminded me of a gospel song I had heard once with the lyrics, "I am who I am today, because God used my mistakes.He worked them for my good, like no one else ever could. God told me to tell you, it was necessary." And please don't assume that all it takes is a simple proclamation. Because I still to this day have my moments of doubts. I still from time to time feel inadequate or that I am not doing enough. But, whenever I find myself falling back into that hole, I remind myself that blessings are specific, and they know who they belong to and no one can take them away. It is our job, as people to be persistent, diligent and most importantly resilientwhile running our course. That is how the course becomes worthwhile. And no, we may not know the end goal but that is not important. What is important is that you're going somewhere and know that change is inevitable. Do not worry about what chapter is next, but just make sure, you are ready for the next one. Also, know that you hold the pen and are in complete control of where your life will go next. If you want to cling on to the past and still want to do the things that make you feel safe, by all means do that. But know, that if 10 years from now you look back and say I wish I would've taken ore chances, be accountable that it was only yourself that got in your owan way. Become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Last but not least, never, ever, ever, ask anyone for permission to be what who you are. You don't have to remind me to just be me or to stay true to myself. It's all I know how and desire to be and do. This is what dreams are made of. ❤️❤️❤️"
