After a three year break, The Head and the Heart have begun releasing music again. Their latest single, “Colors,” retains the band’s signature folk sound and provides a taste of their new album dropping this September. The track begins with a blending of smooth, quiet guitar strums and syrupy melodies from three different vocals, which later layer upon one another to create the perfect final chorus. Breathy and sugar sweet, this ballad sounds like warm sunshine and will leave a smile lingering on your face.
