The Greatest True Blood Prize Ever – Money Goes to the Choroideremia Research Foundation Inc.

Posted on the 20 June 2012 by Truebloodnetcom @truebloodnet

There is a unique opportunity to not only win an awesome True Blood prize, but to do your bit for Deborah Ann Woll’s (Jessica Hamby) favorite charity, the Choroideremia Research Foundation Inc.

So What do You Get?

Signed cut out of Alexander Skarsgård
Well, during the San Diego Comic-Con of 2010, a cardboard cutout of Alexander Skarsgård (who plays the vampire Eric Northman) was used to represent the unattended actor. This has now come into the hands of E.J. Scott, who is not only Deborah Ann Woll’s boyfriend, but a Choroideremia sufferer. He plans to raise $144,000 for the Choroideremia Research Foundation by running 12 marathons in 12 states in 12 months in 2012 – BLINDFOLDED! The Eric Northman cutout is the grand prize.

This cutout has now amassed over 60 signatures from the cast, writers, directors, producers etc of HBO’s hit show True Blood. Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse) has drawn fangs on Mr Northman and Michael McMillian (Rev. Steve Newlin), the eternal prankster has also added bite marks to his neck. During Season 5, more prizes will be added to this one of a kind piece.

So How do You Enter?

Simply head over to Crowdrise.com and donate to the Choroideremia Research Foundation. Every $20 donation will entitle you to one entry into the prize pool. The competition started on the premiere night of Season 5 and will run through to the finale night on August 26, 2012. The winner will be picked randomly on video by Deborah Ann Woll. There will be free shipping of the prize to the winner – regardless of where they are in the world!

Make sure you donate now. Every donation gives you more chances at winning!
