This is again a post for all the oily skin beauties. Since I have an oily T-zone I always try using something that keeps my skin oil free and nourished. This Herb day 365 cleansing foam from a well know Korean skincare brand “The Face Shop” comes in many variants but I chose the lemon variant for various reasons. Which you will know below. So let’s get started.

My experience with The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing foam
The very first thought that came into my mind after receiving this was “It’s huge”. Trust me guys this looks small on Nykaa but in reality, it is seriously huge and is a total value for money. It comes in a tube with flip cap.
How is the consistency, texture and smell?
I chose lemon variant because lemon is best known for their cleansing and toning property. Lemon also helps in removing the blemishes and scars. This face wash has a cream like consistency and very smooth texture. You will need a coin sized product or even less for cleansing. It smells citrusy with a hint of lemon fragrance to it.
How do I use it?
In the morning I usually wet my face and just like any other normal face wash I use it. But I use a less quantity compared to other face washes. It develops into a smooth creamy foam. And at night I wash my face with this herb day 365 cleansing foam but with a pore cleansing brush. While cleansing my face with the brush this face wash lathers up just like a shaving cream.
How effective is it?
Now after covering all the basics let me tell you guys about its effectiveness. For the first two to three days this herb day 365 cleansing foam removed the oil from my whole face making my cheeks a little dry. But I didn’t find any kind of dryness on my T-Zone. And I continued using this because of its beautiful instant effect. This herb day 365 cleansing foam gave me an instant brightness on my face right after washing off the face wash. I kid you not like I close my eyes and wash off the cleansing foam and when I open my eyes I could see my skin bright and totally cleansed. I loved this feeling and no, I am in no way promoting fairness or what so ever.
After 2-3 days I did not feel any dryness or stretchy feeling on my face *strange* May be my skin was getting adjusted to it. Now it’s been almost a month or so and I am still loving it. I don’t know about the other variants but this herb day 365 cleansing foam in lemon variant is just amazing. It removes all of the oil and dirt from my face without making my face dry. It gives my face a matte, soft and cleansed feel. This is the best face wash I have ever tried. I love La Roche Posay cleansing foam but now I love this a bit more than that. This lemon variant has also helped me in toning my skin. Every time I wash my face with this I could see my pores size getting reduced. It keeps my face oily free for a good 3-4 and sometimes 2-3 hours. It depends on the products that you use after washing your face.
I was really very confused while choosing the variant and now I am happy that I chose lemon. If you have an oily skin then without any second thought just go for it. I am sure you will love it. But if you have normal or dry skin then lemon variant is for sure not for you. You can try Aloe as they are hydrating and will not strip off your natural oil. This herb day 365 cleansing foam did not cause any break outs neither did it strip off the oil from my face. You may feel like it is making your skin dry in the beginning but within a week you will observe the changes. It will not cause any sort of dryness. This large tube will last for a really long time and it is worth the money.

I will highly recommend Herb day 365 cleansing foam to all of you. There are many variants available, but if you have an oily skin then don’t miss this out. You will definitely LOVE this. It removes the oil, dirt and dead skin cells giving the face a bright and clear look.
