For too many, faith is something lying below the threshold of reason.

For too many, hope is seen to be a kind of giddy or naive optimism for a world where tragedy and sadness and evil are no more.

For too many, love is measured by how nice we are to the other, the nicer, the more loving, the less nice, the less loving.

Fr. Robert Barron speaks to the need to put some teeth back into these three theological virtues.
