The Good Wife
The Good Wife is good...it's DAMN GOOD! Before the holidays, we all thought UH OH, Peter Florick's at it again. Could he possibly be the father of Marilyn's baby? Sunday's entire episode lead us to believe that he was back to his old tricks, but when Eli walked in to see some anonymous video, we all thought we were going to see Mr. Big and Marilyn making a baby. That wasn't what we saw though, we saw that box of Florick votes from election day. RUUUH ROHHHH!!!! How crazy was it that the Peter who IS the baby daddy is Peter Bogdanovich...what an obscure cameo, but that's what makes the show SO good! The other storyline, was a case taken right from the Glee headlines about a rip off of a rip off of a song for a Glee like TV show. I guarantee that if you hear the song, you'll be singing it all day. The cast must have felt the same way...they made this video. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
You think it just can't get any crazier and then you watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and you realize it can ALWAYS get crazier. Brandi's losin it big time, Mohammad's hair is absolutely ridiculous. I guess women will put up with anything for the right price. I just can't believe Yolanda was married to Mohammad and never did anything about that hair. Carlton is 50 Shades of Crazy, am I supposed to believe that she and her children actually mop floors? Am I also supposed to believe that Kyle and Mauricio actually drive a Jeep when they have enough money to give 100K to the Childrens Hospital? Does Joyce own anything that doesn't have bling on it? Is the first thing you think of when you see Jamie Lee Curtis...hermaphrodite? Is Kim a little too attached to Kingsley? I don't even know what to say anymore. CRAY, CRAY, CRAZYYYYY
Revenge
I thought about being 100% done with Revenge, but I just had to see how Emily would get out of this one. I mean her husband shot her and she was "lost at sea" and everyone knows that she wasn't really pregnant so what was her big strategy? Transient Global Amnesia or TGA. It seems to be the kind of amnesia that only lasts one episode. Now she's snapping out of it and realizing that it was her husband, Daniel who shot her. I love how Daniel told his Mom that he shot his wife and she didn't bat an eye. Just another day in the life of the Grayson's...add attempted murder to the list. Pick up dry cleaning, order invitations, go to court. Same old, same old. Daniel could have said he picked up groceries or got a puppy, Victoria can go with anything and has the ability to think fast. I guess those are Mom qualities I need to work on. Her big idea, which was pretty good actually...get Conrad to frame Lydia and send her on her way. Pooooor Lydia. It's only a matter of time for Daniel thought. Between Emily's memory, the infinity symbol clue and Margo's photos, Daniel's going to jail. The shows ridiculous at this point.. It really went down hill fast!
News & Information:
-10.2 million of us tuned in to see how Lady Mary, the Granthams and the entire staff of Downton Abbey were doing on Sunday night! A record breaker for PBS, not sure what show would even come in second on the network. Zoom? (5 points if you remember the Zoom zip code) Sesame Street? Electric Company? I tried to find out, but I couldn't find anything telling me what the 2nd biggest PBS audience ever was.
-Jimmy Fallon's Primetime special delivered a 2.0 against A18-49. That didn't make the top 5 for the night but it still did much better than any other non-football, non-awards program on NBC for the time period. I DVR'ed it because my theory was that I've seen every show and every bit that Jimmy would probably showcase and...I was RIGHT! My strategy totally paid off big time!
-We all remember the last amazing P&G spot from the Olympics, you know the "Thank You Mom" one...well, here's another one. SO good...I didn't cry at this one but I got the chills a few times.
