The Blue Moon Day book review:

Self-help book teaches one how to face the life and its challenges, whereas fiction takes one into a world of dream or melancholic. To blend both the genres need extreme creativity. Santhosh Sivaraj has done it with ease and he has done it in his debut book.

The Blue Moon Day is one rare book were fiction meets motivation. It narrates how an ordinary individual can become extraordinary when faced with life threatening situation. The Blue Moon Day has all the motivation one needs.

The success of the book is the way it teaches the life changing advises. Santhosh ddin't preach instead, he has made his stories do it through plots. Each and every plot is different, but unique. I loved the way each character plants something in our hearts. It can be a life changing book if one follows the learnings from the book.

The phase is equally great. Santhosh never forced the story to unveil fast nor too slow. He has done a great job in phasing the stories. Though the stories are short comparing novels, each character has something to offer to the readers. Readers can relate at least one character to their life.

The Blue Moon Day succeeds in keeping the readers hooked. As the book is short one can finish it in one go. But, I would suggest to read one story at a time. Taking a break between each story might give some time to deepen the thoughts created by the story.

The lucid language and Santhosh's vocabulary were added advantage. It is simple and easy to understand. The cover is another attractive feature of the book. Blue is the colour that spreads confidence, I believe The Blue Moon Day does it well.

Personally I felt if the book would have narrated one full story it would have made even more impact. Off course human mentality would be finding some faults. Leaving my personal opinion aside, The Blue Moon Day is a must read for self-help lovers and motivation seekers.
