These giant-sized Matryoshka dolls were hand painted in the traditional style and the largest of them was 13 meters (42.65ft) tall. Just in case you were wondering the smallest of these was 6 meters (19.68 ft)

While there are taller drop towers around the world this one is the tallest that is free-standing and at 335 ft the drop is like nothing else on earth with almost 5 seconds of zero-G!

Located in California, USA is the World's Tallest Thermometer that is pretty handy when you live near Death Valley. Although it has never reached its max temperature recording of 134 °F (57 °C) it has got pretty close!

Located right next to the Niesen Railway is a set of 11,674 steps that is the worlds tallest staircase and some strange people even try and endurance run it, with most of them taking several hours to achieve it! Stuff, and that for a game of soldiers!

While some say the worlds tallest is the 127 ft, 7″ Totem Pole located in Victoria, British Columbia, it is, in fact, the 150 ft one located in Alert Bay, British Columbia!

Located in Kewaunee, Wisconsin it was moved just a little down the road to the Ahnapee State Trail and was built in 1976. I have to wonder if it has giant pendulums on the inside to keep it going!?
