I am really loving all this back story into the Targaryen family that I am getting reading these various prequels to A Song of Ice and Fire. Dangerous Women that I read last year was fantastic, dramatic, and bloodthirsty all at the same time.
But these simple Dunk and Egg tales from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are also pretty charming, and insightful as well, providing a nice glimpse into some of the famous Targaryens from history, some of whom still influence the events in A Song of Ice and Fire. My interest was definitely heightened when Bloodraven makes an entrance in the third short story from the book.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms - George R.R.MartinHow many eyes does Lord Bloodraven have? A thousand eyes, and one.
I finished this book over the weekend, and a review of it is coming up shortly.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
