If you read my blogs or know me personally, you will definitely say these. Why is she writing about a milk tea shop again? I thought she said that she has a list of milk tea shops she only visits and doesn't give new shops a second look.
My answer is yes, I do keep a list of milk tea shops I only visit and I don't visit new milk tea shops anymore. Well, except for this one because I gave my younger cousins their Christmas gifts over the holiday break. One of those gifts is a milk tea metal straw. After opening the gift my youngest cousin then shouts, "Milk tea tayo!"

The Milk Tea Shop
TEA + BAR opened in July 2019. I found out about them by stumbling on an Instagram post and saw that they were located somewhere in Visayas Avenue. I couldn't find them at first but one weekday when the vehicle I was on stopped because of traffic, I looked up and saw a light on the second floor of this building. There I saw the name TEA + BAR.
Their signage gave me the impression that they have probably had a cool place. But since I wasn't in the mood for some milk tea, I didn't get out of the vehicle. Fast forward to the holiday season, my assumption was right!
TEA + BAR does have a cool and cosy place perfect for hanging out. They have the typical chairs and tables, a couch area and of course, the bar area. They also feature some nice light fixtures as well as neon lights plus other elements perfect for the shop's vibe. It wasn't big though but it has enough space for a few people to enjoy some milk tea, snacks and chat with friends or cousins.

The Milk Teas
TEA + BAR has quite a selection of milk teas under various categories. They have their House Specials, Made in Taiwan, Premium, Craze, Cheesecake Series, Muscovado Boba Series, Fruit Tea, Coffee as well as other drinks. They also have some munchies if you're hungry.
We got the following: Tea Bar Classic Milk Tea (House Special R: PHP80 | L: PHP95), Roasted Oolong Milk Tea (Made in Taiwan R: PHP90 | L: PHP105), Blueberry Cheesecake Milk Tea (Cheesecake Series R: PHP130 | L: PHP145), Muscovado Boba Milk Tea (Muscovado Boba Series R: PHP110 | L: PHP130) and Bacon & Cheese Sandwich (PHP149).
Their milk teas are familiar but good. The pearls were cooked well making the milk tea drinking experience even better. Their Bacon & Cheese Sandwich was also delicious. But since they ran out of bagels, they used croissant which I think made it much better.
My cousins enjoyed the quick trip to TEA + BAR and if they ask me to visit it with them again, I would be happy to.
