Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick In Shade 08 Wine and Shine Review

By Adorableshe

Hello girls

As soon as these lip colours launched I just drooled over them. I loved the swatches on internet and really wanted to try my hands on them. It was so difficult to choose the shade from the range which includes seven colors.

When it comes to lip colours, I usually stick to pinks, reds and nudes. So this time I decided to go little bold and chose the darkest shade from the range which is Wine and Shine.

Price: Rs 499

How to Apply:

For precise application, apply it to your bottom lip first and then tend to your upper lip. Since the formula is very pigmented, we suggest applying the colour to the bottom lip first, pressing your lips together and then filling in your Cupid's bow.

My Experience with Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick In shade 08 Wine and Shine

Packaging:

The lip colour comes in a graphic box with a shade name printed on it. The actual lipstick is inside the box. It comes in a clear tube packaging with a twist open black cap. The tube has a tiny sticker at the bottom which has the shade name printed on it. The sponge applicator of the lipstick is perfect, I don't have to apply extra effort to get a perfect lip shape.

Texture and consistency

The texture of the lipstick is liquidy. It glides on lips easily without tugging Or pulling and gives a perfect application. It is lightweight and feels very comfortable on lips. It dries out on lips in few seconds so I would suggest that you have to be quick while applying this lipstick or you will end up with patchy application.

As it says matte, so here matte means perfect matte. Thus, before applying this lipstick I always exfoliate my lips and apply a good amount of lip balm.

Shade and Pigmentation:

Wine and shine is a deep berry shade with blue undertones. It is a very powerful shade and the best part is that each woman can rock this shade no matter which skin tone they have. So if you dare to wear dark shades then this shade is for you.

The lipstick is highly pigmented, just one swipe and the job is done.

Staying power:

These lipstick have raved for their staying power. Most of the beauty bloggers say that it stayed on there lips for the whole day. But sadly it did not stay on my lips for that long. I would say that it have a decent staying power of 5 to 6 hours, between those 5-6 hours I had some snacks in between but to my surprise this lipstick did not even fade a little. But after having an oily lunch it started to fade away from the centre. After 5-6 hours my lips felt so dry that I had to apply lip balm on top of my lipstick, as soon as I applied lip balm the lipstick started fading out completely. It is completely non-transferable lipstick and does not get transfer to the cups or glasses while drinking

I wouldn't recommend reapplication of this lipstick as it is very matte and if another coat is applied on top of the already applied lipstick then it starts to look patchy. Removing this lipstick is also a task, completely good makeup remover is needed to remove it
