STYLE SWAP TUESDAYS- A VISIT TO CAPEtown

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1
This past weekend was nothing short of warm and spectacular weather. With temperatures in lower 60's, it was utter bliss and I made sure to get most out of it by ditching all heavy winter clothing.

This long-lost cape sweater is almost six years old and having said that it's the first time I am wearing it, I feel guilty of committing every fashion sin. A must have for winters, the cape trend  has seen both good and bad. I was a bit skeptical about the body bulking, but with blogosphere over-saturated with all sorts and shapes of capes, it was heard to resist. I was open to trying this trend but finding the right one was the job I dreaded. Thanks to my pro-activeness, owing to the early spring closet cleaning, I found this one in a stash of clothes that I had packed for goodwill when moving from my last apartment, and forgotten about the same ever since. I vaguely remembered owning something cape-like, but wasn't sure until I rediscovered it. Having found it was such a victorious moment in itself.
Anyways, very unlikely, but if I end up not wearing it again, I will have no regrets.......the goodwill bag is still there. But for now I am glad I found it.
