Chicks in the new one are hotter, but other than that, it should be a sin that McDermott is being compared in any way to Larry Legend. Larry Bird = one of the greatest NBA players of all time as well as one of the sweetest ‘staches ever. Doug McDermott = a four year senior who will be a marginal player at best in the NBA (my opinion.)
They’re both white, we get it Sports Illustrated. If that’s all you got, you’ve got to let it go. How is McDermott College Basketball’s secret weapon? Everyone knows about him because he’s been around since forever. He’s a good player. He’ll take Creighton as far as he can in the tournament, but to replicate Larry Legend is just foolish.
I know I’m biased, but whatever. Larry Legend was the straight up truth. I don’t ever want anyone compared to him, period. Let’s just move on.
