Spiritual Healer “John of God” Accused Of Sexual Abuse
Ten women in Brazil have accused spiritual healer “John of God” of sexually abusing them.

According to the New York Post, the accusations against John of God, whose real name is Joao Teixeira de Faria, were made on Brazilian TV Saturday night.

Faria’s office released a statement vehemently denying the accusations.

You might remember Faria from O’s Next Chapter.  Oprah interviewed him back in 2013, after reading about his miraculous healing power in O’ Magazine.

“I had read many stories about this man, including editor in chief Susan Casey’s December 2010 profile in O. But I wanted to see for myself, Oprah said on her website. So I went to the Brazilian town where people from all over the world journey for solace, healing, and help with everything from addictions to malignant tumors.”

According to Faria’s website, he has also treated former President Bill Clinton.
