The Rochester Outdoor Preschool is Rochester’s first outdoor school designed for children ages 3-5 year old. The school is centered on developing happy and healthy minds, bodies, and souls through mindful & whole person centered learning activities.  Founded by master educator Calvin Eaton, the curriculum is based on the fundamental principle that children learn everywhere and all the time.

Children learn everywhere all the time.

The outdoor preschool will be housed at 540WMain an events and education center located in the National Registered Historic Susan B. Anthony district. In addition to the preschool, 540WMain will house an academic based after school program for students aged 5-14 years old. Both programs will begin in September 2016. The first information session for the Rochester Outdoor Preschool will take place Wednesday June 6 at Climbing Vines Café in Victor, NY from 1-2PM. This info session is FREE and open to the public.
