Southend Barns in West Sussex is a real gem of a wedding venue. Rustic, with plenty of charm. My stars of the day were Stuart & Charlotte and what a pair of stars they were. I met them a fews years back at Amy & Stephan’s wedding which took place at Redhouse Barns, a similar venue in terms of style and refinement. It’s always an amazing feeling to get an email from people who were at other weddings asking if you can be their wedding photographer. It was also lovely to see Amy & Stephan again and now they have a bundle of joy. Even better. Cracking to see John on Grandad duties. 
On the day, the weather was beautiful with the sun beaming. I traveled down the day before and stayed over night. I started my day with a bacon butty on a seafront bench. I must have been there for over an hour, soaking up the sea air and tranquility. I love the sea air, the sound of the waves and just looking out at that endless horizon. Very special when you live your life inland.
I can blabber on for ages but won’t.
These guys were amazing. The venue was amazing. Their day the same.
