South Walton Restaurants Showcased On Season Two of Emeril’s Florida #30AEATS

Season two of “Emeril’s Florida” premiered Sunday, Jan. 5, on the Cooking Channel, and this season nine restaurants will be showcased in segments with the first to broadcast at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19. Two separate episodes focus solely on South Walton and will air at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, and Sunday, March 2. They will be called “Some Panhandle Beach and Waterfront Favorites”, and “Find Your Perfect Beach and Bites-Part 1″.

Those nine restaurants opening their kitchens to Chef Lagasse for season two are, Havana Beach Bar & Grill at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach, V Seagrove, 723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove, Seaside’s Airstream row of food trucks, Crust Artisan Bakery in Santa Rosa Beach, Sandestin’s Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood, Marlin Grill, and The Wine Bar at Grand Boulevard. The Marina at Baytowne Wharf featured in season one as an outdoor cooking experience with Governor Rick Scott will once again take center stage highlighting a fresh catch of the day preparation.

With an area that offers such a welcoming and delicious vacation experience due to our passionate purveyors, chefs, and restaurants, it is no wonder that South Walton has become the place that families and beachgoers have come to love over the years.

Emeril’s Florida highlights the Sunshine State through the eyes of Chef Emeril on-location with a focus on food, cooking, events and activities around the state. Throughout the series, he travels throughout Florida and visits the state’s top restaurants and resorts. Emeril also prepares some of his favorite recipes which often feature some of the best seafood Florida has to offer. Other segments will feature Emeril attending many of the world-class events, festivals and sports venues in the state. Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse is passionate about sharing his enthusiasm for the Florida and its Gulf Coast, especially South Walton where he and his family now call home.
