Social media masterclass: How Nissan got 25 million social impressions

We spotted this video from Nissan a while ago, and thought it was a great example of a brand using social media effectively.

With the help of Whybin\TBWA Melbourne, Nissan invited Instagram users to upload a short video using the hashtag #VJUKE. After the entries came flooding in, the clips were edited together to create a totally crowd-sourced music video.

The finished track was revealed at an exclusive launch event in Melbourne and streamed live on Facebook and Youtube.

The campaign was design to appeal to a young, social audience. It resulted in over 25 million social media impressions, with around 2 million impression just from Instagram.
