Whether you have an office in the home or at a place of business, your productivity increases when you have a well-organized and tidy desk. Between my blogging, freelance editing and personal interests, I spend a lot of time at my desk, which takes up a corner of my bedroom. I carefully selected a desk with an antique look that I love, a whimsical desk lamp that makes me smile, and a cordless mouse and keyboard to cut down on cord clutter. One thing I hadn’t yet thought of, however, was a desk pad … that is, until I received one for review from Shoplet!They sent me the beautiful Artistic Executive Desk Pad Organizer with storage. With my keyboard and mouse on top of the pad, I don’t have to worry about scratches on my wood desk. The Desk Pad Organizer has an attractive black matte finish that matches any décor, and small corner flaps on the bottom edge provide an area for me to slip small to-do notes or business cards. The feature that really adds usefulness and uniqueness to this product is the flip-top header panel, which has five compartments that can be used to store paper clips, writing utensils, small sticky pads, and more. I love that it helps to keep the clutter out of sight, but keeps necessary items within easy reach. The only accommodation I had to make was that the pad is a little tall (17 inches) for my skinny desk, but it rests on top of the base of my monitor and actually works perfectly that way by providing extra anchorage for the monitor. The Artistic Executive Desk Pad Organizer adds extra class and utility to my desk, and I’m very pleased with it!
