The years slip by so quickly and again it's Christmas in Australia, for us this year it means 34C/93F heat, a bbq with salads and a chocolate "buche de noel" plus home made icecream (raspberry and macadamia nut) for desert. Swimming in the pool, trying to stay cool in the shade.
To me, if it's not hot, it's not Christmas.
For the few years I lived in the UK, it never felt like Christmas because it hadn't warmed up. I know that would be a completely foreign thought for all of you in the Northern Hemisphere who are currently experiencing your winter. I always feel sorry for the men who don the Santa suit in Australia as it's way too hot for so many clothes!

I really really appreciate those of you who choose to be part of the Evolve Your Style challenge and step out of your comfort zones and share in the EYS community your style journey. It's a complete joy for me to watch.
And without those of you who take the plunge right into the style deep-end with 7 Steps to Style I wouldn't be able to write as many blog posts or spend as much time here writing new content for all to enjoy for free. I do hope that you have found your style journey so far to be both revealing and fun. I love writing this blog and sharing my thoughts, knowledge and experiences with you.
I'm truly grateful to you all for believing in my programs and working through them in such dedicated ways. I hope that many more of you will join in the fun in 2016.
I'm so happy to have been able to meet just a few of you on my travels this year to New York and Washington, plus those of you who have come to see me in Melbourne. I do hope to meet a few more of you in person in the coming year.
In Australia, from now until mid to late January it's holiday season where many companies shut down or run on skeleton staff. It's our summer and Christmas holidays all wrapped into one. As I write this I can hear my kids laughing and splashing in the pool, I'm wearing a tank top and pair of shorts and have bare feet. I'm taking a break away for a few days with my husband, visiting the Barossa Valley in South Australia (wine country), then I'll be returning and spending countless hours hand making colour swatches for personal colour analysis!
I do hope you all have a safe, happy and fun festive season, I know that this time of year can be hard for some. Merry Christmas to you all!
