Scarlett 21Tress Wig Review – Human Hair Blended in 99J

By Girlratesworld @girlratesworld

Hey Yall! Today I'm b-b-b-bangin' it. Scarlett by 21Tress is a full cap wig with straight bangs and textured, wavy hair. Tell me whatcha think cause you know I'm going to tell you my thoughts right now. Let's dive in!

IT'S JUST TOO MUCH HAIR!

I can't get over the amount of hair in this unit. It's enough to weave a small country. Not only is it a lot, but the unit is also very long. It's about 22 inches long. The texture of the hair causes the wig to tangle very easily which is never good.

WHY MIX HAIR TEXTURES?

I can't understand why the super straight bangs are on the same wig as this wavy, textured hair. I can kinda see where they were going with the idea. In fact, if Scarlett was not so full and long. . .It would've worked - maybe?!?!

HUMAN HAIR BLENDED WIG

I picked up Scarlett by 21Tress for $29. It features "human hair blended" hair. That's basically synthetic hair that suppose to feel like human hair because it's infused with human hair. I don't know. It felt like synthetic hair to me - just soft, synthetic hair. The wig is really light. I did like that a lot. I felt like my scalp could breathe when I had it on. I can't say that for many synthetic wigs.

FROM 1B BLACK TO 99J BROWN-BURGUNDY

I have Scarlett in the color 99J which is a brownish-burgundy shade. I really like the color of the wig. Figured I would change it up a bit - a break from my usual jet black hair. The unit has no combs. It only has adjustable straps in the back. You will need bobby pins to secure it so it fits snugly.
