Natalie Cole son, Robert Yancy has passed away from an apparent heart attack. Yancy was found dead inside his San Fernando Valley apartment on Monday by a friend according to reports.
According to TMZ, family members said authorities contacted them early Tuesday morning to report that Yancy had died of a heart attack.
An autopsy is still pending, though his death is currently being attributed to natural causes.
He is survived by his aunts, Cole’s twin sisters Casey and Timolin.
Natalie’s former back-up singer Anita Anderson shared the sad news on Twitter Tuesday morning, writing:
