Rick Schwartz Maybe “Retired” But He Is Still The Domain King & Still Schooling Them Up

Posted on the 19 May 2015 by Worldwide @thedomains

A lot of people in the domain world miss Rick Schwartz since he retired.

His “Biggest Fan” who writes openly stated last week he was eagerly waiting for a new post from Rick on

The Domain King remains retired but of course he still owns a lot of domain names and gets offers  to which he responds to.

Rick shared with me an exchange he had with a someone about a domain name he owns over the weekend,

What follows, with Rick’s permission is the email exchange in which Rick schooled the inquirer in classic Domain King style.

We will refer to the person who inquired about the domain as the buyer,  although clearly in this case there was no sale:

Buyer: What is the price of

RS: $500,000

Buyer: hahahahahahahha

RS:  Sorry you can’t afford it.

Buyer:  it’s not worth it of course, is $1,900 dollars

RS: Not any more, I just bought it, Thanks!

Personally I hate when people write me about a domain I own and then use other domain names for sale to try to bring down the price of my domain.

If a buyer equally loves the other domain they found,  that is much cheaper why would they write to me and not just buy the other domain.

They lie.

Yes,  Rick Schwartz is alive and well and still schooling them up and giving them hell.
