Nude Rose, Extreme Blackcurrent, Hot Salsa, Midnight Red
I am starting to build a little collection of the Maybelline SuperStay Gel Nail Colors (Boots £4.49) which claim to stay on the nails for 7 days and I can confirm they do just that.
I have had the shade Hot Salsa since last summer and it has been a favorite of mine this summer and last. I never payed much attention to the 7 day claim I just noticed it lasted well without chipping and the color was gorgeous.
It was until recently that I picked up the color Midnight Red and after 5 days of wearing it at work there was still no chips that I payed attention.
I work in boots and we are constantly having to use our nails to put the little price tickets out which means they often chip easily so you can imagine my amazement when this polish was still going strong.
Below is a picture of day 5, then day 7 of what the polish looked like. Even by day seven it was only just starting to wear at the ends.

Day 7.As you can see amazing staying power! I have tried all the 4 shades I own now and they all stay on just as well, though I think Midnight Red is a firm favorite of mine. The formulation of the polishes are great, they are all very opaque colours and the thick brush makes its really easy to apply in just two sweeps. I tend to do two coats as I find this helps it last longer. (Not that this really needs it) Let me know if you have tried the Maybelline Superstay polishes and if there is any other colours you think I should pick up?
