Words about music (779): Guthrie Govan

Guthrie Govan
In all honesty, I don't feel conscious of any significant latency between what my head comes up with and the way my hands react on the instrument, so it sometimes *feels* like the head and hands are working more as a team, as opposed to one waiting for the other... but I'm confident that the 'head' part of the process *must* be what comes first.

Tugboat Captain: Nothing Embarrassing

English baroque-pop band Tugboat Captain paint a picture of a couple in the early stages of their relationship on their new single Nothing Embarrassing. Finding out what the significant other likes or dislikes is trying to make it safe through the minefield - things can go terribly wrong - and it takes some time to come to conclusion that it is perfectly alright to be different. The hassles of being a young adult in a big city like London are in fact far more difficult to deal with.
