How nice if we can enjoy chocolate without consuming excessive fat and sugar? This is why Donna creates this flavoursome choc-coconut popcorn (Recipe is at here)... without adding any fat and cane sugar.

"There is NO oil used to cook these popcorn! Wow!!! I must try this!" I said to myself after watching the "Movie Night" episode.
It's true!!! Here's my video showing how I made my popcorn. These quick guilt-free delicious popcorn is made (1) within a minute (2) with NO oil added (3) with no washing required because we are using a disposable / re-usable paper snack bag to pop the corn kernels and (4) with sensible amount of flavouring. Enjoy!

My family is not a big fan of shredded coconut and so I made our choc-coconut popcorn without the coconut.
And it is still yummy!!!

My favorite is the maple butter popcorn.
And my son likes the cinnamon one the most.

Besides the popcorn, I have also learned to make these easy and stylish nacho bowls. Donna's recipe is at here.

It's easy. Brush tortilla with oil and place the oiled-side down over a ramekin.
Bake at 180°C for 10-15 mins or until the edges are nicely browned.

Instead of filling the nacho bowl with Donna's Mexican-style bean filling,
I'm enjoying mine with quinoa sweet potato tomatoes avocado salad with honey soy dressing.
Either way, I'm loving this stylish nacho bowl idea!

This is how I made these healthy popcorn:
Serve 6
For the air-popped popcorn:
6 tbsp popcorn kernels
6 brown paper snack bags
To season one serve of popcorn with low- fat cocoa sauce:
1/2 tbsp cocoa powder or raw cacao, sifted
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1-2 tsp shredded coconut - optional and I didn't add because we don't like coconut in our popcorn.
To season one serve of popcorn with maple butter:
1 tsp melted butter
1-2 tsp maple syrup
To season one serve of popcorn with cinnamon butter:
1 tsp melted butter
1-2 tsp honey or golden syrup or caster sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
To make the popcorn:
Place 1 tbsp popcorn kernels into one paper bag. Fold the top of the bag over 2-3 times, then fold in the corners to secure. Do the same for the 5 bags.
Place the popcorn bags, one at a time, in the microwave on high (800W) for 1 min each or until the popping sound has stopped.
Remove the bag from the microwave. Open and allow popcorn to cool slightly.
To season popcorn with low fat cocoa sauce:
Combine sifted cocoa powder and maple syrup until smooth. Stir in the shredded coconut if desired.
Add half of cocoa mixture into each warm popcorn bag. Fold the tops of the bags and give them a good shake to coat. Then, drizzle the rest of the cocoa mixture on the cocoa-popcorn.
To season one serve of popcorn with maple butter:
Combine melted butter and maple syrup. Pour maple butter mixture into each warm popcorn bag. Fold the tops of the bags and give them a good shake to coat.
To season one serve of popcorn with cinnamon butter:
Combine melted butter, honey or golden syrup or sugar and cinnamon place it in a small bowl. Add cinnamon mixture into each warm popcorn bag. Fold the tops of the bags and give them a good shake to coat. Or simply drizzle the mixture on the popcorn.

Serve immediately. These air-popped popcorn with no added oil won't stay fresh and crisp for long.
Happy Popping!
