This sculpture/ installation/ playground is located on an elevated section of the Southbank complex between Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Festival Hall and the Hayward Gallery. It seems to be constructed of render and mesh although I might be wrong. It is painted pink and topped with artificial turf. As can be seen from the photos the children loved it. It encourages climbing, balancing, and child interaction. The ubiquitous safety surface was not plastered everywhere and the children seemed to be having a great time. Unfortunately I am unable to identify the designers of this fantastic installation.
