One of the first makeup products I collected was eyeliner, I even showed some of my collection before. But that was around 2 years ago, and over the years I encountered more brands — some were hits, the others were misses. One that seems to be the holy grail for many people is this K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo. It took me some time to finally decide to purchase one cos I have yet to use up my other eyeliners. And I believe the waiting paid off cos when I was ready to go and get one in Beauty Bar, I saw a special bundle promo of the eyeliner and mascara. Not that I need any new mascara, but whatever… getting both would save me Php600! Total damage? Php1090 only.
I’m not entirely new to this brand cos I’ve already tried their 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyebrow Liner, which I loved and even have a back up of! Right then and there, I knew this Japanese brand is dead serious in delivering nothing but the best eye products.
So how does this eyeliner fare?
I find it easy to apply because of the soft and super fine felt tip. People who like doing winged liner/cat eye look would appreciate the brush tip cos of its precision and how smoothly it glides on the eyelid. It’s also pigmented that a single stroke would do just fine. What I hope though is for it to be available in matte finish (or do they have it already?). I got mine in Deep Brown and as you can see in the photos above, it’s not entirely opaque. I pointed this out cos some may be looking for a very solid, intensified dark shade. Anyway, I’m thinking of getting the black one in the future too.
Some tips when using eyeliner! If you want to make eyes appear bigger, apply eyeliner on the upper lash line. If you want to have the appearance of smaller eyes, use eyeliner on your lower lash line (pencil liners work best for this purpose). I have many friends who ask me tips on applying eyeliner properly… and I always say to them to just practice. Practice and practice until eventually doing it will be automatic.
