Eat Healthy

Make sure to eat healthy always. Make sure your meals are balanced and nutritious. Avoid uncooked food, even salads, and be sure that your food is hygienic. For those who have a sensitive stomach, avoid eating outdoors. Constipation is extremely common during pregnancy due to the hormonal changes. Be sure you eat plenty of fruits, vegetables and fiber laden food such as whole wheat or multi grain breads.

Heavy exercising isn’t recommended for pregnant women but gentle or moderate exercises, for example walking, will be beneficial. Nowadays, physical trainers are teaching exercises which are pregnancy- specific. These exercises help to keep a pregnant woman fit besides ensuring an even delivery.

Avoid Cigarettes and Alcohol

Avoid smoking completely and then try to avoid taking too much of alcohol. Some think that the sporadic red wine may not be harmful but it’s better to stay away from alcohol as far as possible. For instance, too much of coffee is also not good however that does not mean that you should deprive yourself of your morning cuppa!
