Potatoes with garlic (Potate Sarladaise) – Traditional French Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 kg of potato
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1 half bunch of parsley
- 3 tablespoons of goose fat
- Salt and pepper by your desire

Preparation

Step 1: Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices.
Step 2: Peel and chop the garlic, wash and chop the parsley.
Step 3: Melt the goose fat in a large skillet.
Step 4: Add the potatoes and cook(bake) for 15 minutes. Stir often.
Step 5: Add the garlic and the parsley and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Add the salt and the pepper, then cover the potatoes. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
